Power requirements, base station:
3 AA ( 1.5V) alkaline batteries, or 120Vac 60Hz if the supplied ac adapter is used. Battery life is approximately 12 months unless the data-link cable is used, in which case it is approximately 6 months.
Power requirements, outdoor thermo-hygro sensor:
2 AA ( 1.5V) alkaline batteries
OR
If both the base-station ac adapter and the data-link cable are used, the thermo-hygro sensor receives power from the ac adapter via the cable. In this case, batteries can be installed in the sensor to serve as power backup in case of ac failure.
